So What's the Catch with Synergy Healthcare?

"What's the catch?" A nurse asked us this during an interview.
After years of working in traditional healthcare where success is measured by patient volume and quick turnaround times, she was understandably skeptical of our approach.
The truth is, there isn't a catch. We've built our model on a simple principle: giving nurses time to care. While the rest of healthcare pushes for efficiency, processing as many patients as possible, we've chosen a different path.
Time to Help
At Synergy, each nurse works with a carefully selected group of employers. This is a deliberate choice that lets our nurses build genuine relationships with the people they serve. We give our nurses the time and space to understand each person's story, their challenges, and their needs.
What This Looks Like
The results speak for themselves, but not just in terms of cost savings, though we consistently deliver 1 to 3% trends. The difference happens in the everyday moments.
When members greet their nurse with tears and hugs because they finally feel heard and supported. When someone who's been struggling with chronic conditions finally finds a path forward. When an employee realizes they don't have to navigate the healthcare system alone.
Does focusing on quality over quantity work?
Just ask the countless working-age adults managing multiple chronic conditions who now have a dedicated advocate in their corner.
Ask the third of patients who previously avoided medical care due to frustrating experiences but now have direct access to someone they trust to support them on their health journey.
Part of the Family
Our nurses become part of their employers' organizations. They're not distant voices on an 800 number. They're trusted partners who understand both the company culture and the individual needs of each person they serve.
They have time to see issues through to completion, to understand why someone might be struggling with medication adherence, or to have meaningful conversations about managing their condition.
Just Good Healthcare
The "catch" our prospective nurse was looking for doesn't exist. Instead, we've created something surprisingly straightforward: a healthcare model that puts people first.
Numbers matter, and controlling healthcare costs is crucial. But nothing will ever replace the value of giving nurses the time to build relationships and care for the people they serve.
That's not a catch. It's just good healthcare.
Synergy Healthcare integrates clinical services directly into human resources. By providing independent employer-based support, employees better access care, improve health outcomes and help create cost stability.
